Tasker Milward school asked us to help create them a website that would serve as a useful resource for students and parents alike. They wanted the website to be easily to navigate and fit in with their school branding, from an administrative perspective they wanted it to be easy for the teachers to keep up to date.
Working with the school was very straight forward as prior to getting in touch they had already planned out the website structure and prepared most of the content. This meant our initial meeting was fairly brief and we were able to go away and start designing the website.
The school really like our initial design so were progressed to the build stage only a week after our first meeting, we then fed in all content and we were ready to launch.
We added some custom features like a ‘bully button’, a tool that students could use to report bullying anonymously. We also added a drop-down menu system, meaning all primary and secondary levels of navigation could be accessed with one click of the mouse.
TP10 attended the school to give a tutorial to all the heads of department on how to use the website administration area. The step by step guides on how to add a page, add an image\document link etc all fitted on one side of an A4 sheet (much to the relief of the teachers!). This demonstrates how easy the content management system (CMS) is to use.
